We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven person who have proven expertise in vendor relationship, performance management, contract management and EMS (Electronic Management Services).
As Head of Vendor Management at Radinn, you manage vendor and EMS activities and maintain both new and existing vendor relationships. Its within your responsibility to identify suitable vendors, negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices for products and services, creating vendor standards, and finding the best available vendors. You ensure that the contractual framework has the appropriate controls and processes in place to reduce risk, improve vendor performance, and optimize contract value. You onboard and inform new vendors of their responsibilities.
This is a newly established role within Radinn. In today's fast-paced global economy, change is constant and innovation is critical to a company's survival. This role assists our company in making sound purchasing decisions and monitoring our vendors to ensure they are compliant with our company policies and guidelines.
Acting as a subject matter expert, the Head of Vendor Management will be responsible for proactively lead the completion of multiple complex activities and strategically guide Radinn and our vendors in the use of appropriate procedures, techniques, and tools to meet organizational goals and objectives.
This role reports to COO.
- Select and develop a sustaining long-standing relationships with company vendors globally
- Select vendors and negotiate contracts based on who offer the best pricing and product quality and technique
- Scout, select and build up a qualified second suppliers’ network globally
- Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders
- Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance
- Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns
- Participate to formulate workflow processes, methods and policies for applying vendors
- Support to explore expansion across new business lines
We believe you will bring:
To be successful in this role, you should be detail-oriented and adept at negotiating vendor contracts. You should also be able to multitask effectively as well as demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. You have a technical understanding and knowledge of components, manufacturing methods and different materials. Above this, we believe that you have a broad relevant legal competence and a strong methodology- and quality approach. This with an excellent reliability and accountability. Its in your daily work to solve problems, catch what is not working optimally and act on this with the willingness and ability to methodologically and repeatedly ensure that we use the right suppliers at any given time.
Furthermore, we believe you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Extensive relevant experience within Vendor Management and EMS
- Extensive experience in contract negotiation, incorporating even legal aspects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Swedish)
- Experience working in a multicultural global environment
